    The Magazine

Selah is editorially designed to guide the reader through their spiritual journey by providing scriptural-based teachings from
inspiring teachers of Christ and faith-building testimonies from contemporary Christian women.  The magazine seeks to create
a community of knowledge, support and stimulation that will lift up the readers, the Word of God, and encourage readers to
pause and meditate on the Word. It is our hope that Selah readers will be still and know God – and that we facilitate that
relationship. In this way, we may all live a purpose-filled, joyous and empowered life.

We seek to achieve these goals through highlighting the stories of women who accomplish, serve, overcome and survive the
ebbs and flow of life because of their relationship with God.  For our readers, these stories are experiential examples of women
representing all denominations, backgrounds, and milestones throughout a Christian’s spiritual journey.

The magazine is organized in three main sections: spiritual (Spirit to spirit), relationships (Soul to Soul) and lifestyle (Anointed
Living).

Spirit to Spirit leads the reader to their own inner sanctuary – exploring what and who we were designed to be by God
through theological and biblical studies; exploratory discussions on spiritual disciplines; and awareness of our spiritual gifts,
including tests to help readers determine gifts of their spirit.  Spirit (Spirit of God) to spirit (spirit of the reader) section also
celebrates the reader’s relationship with God through creative expressions and seeks to deepen the readers’ faith by
encouraging healthy Q & A's of real-life spiritual issues and concerns.

Soul to Soul is dedicated to every personal relationship that is important to the Selah reader.  It serves as a forum to explore
female relationships (single and married women, mothers and daughters, women across generations) and provides a
platform to learn and understand the Christian male perspective.

Anointed Living is dedicated to empowering our readers with fresh, informative, and inspiring stories from experts in the
area of finance, real estate, health, politics, international issues, fashion, beauty, and travel.  Anointed Living will also include
book and music reviews as well as top selling book and music lists.  The goal of Anointed Living is to illustrate the fullness of
life that God desires us to live.
    Our Mission

Selah Magazine is designed to provide spiritual guidance for Christian women who crave a deeper relationship with God.

Selah is a Hebrew word that can be found throughout the Psalms and in the book of Habakkuk.  The word selah – to be still
and know God – gives life to the magazine’s mission of encouraging Christian women into a life of contemplative living.   The
magazine’s mission cannot fully be understood without sharing the other meanings of selah.  In christening this magazine
selah, we seek to educate, support and influence a life filled with many moments in which you:

    pause and observe

    meditate thoughtfully

weigh and evaluate how you are an instrument of God’s work.

And moment by moment, we hope the word of God will be lifted up by the way you live your life.
